I can't believe what I'm doing, but I'm going to Brighton for an afternoon later on. Yeah... scold me. I haven't done what I set out to do (on studying), and yet I'm off, all becoz my friend just called me a couple of mins ago and made a very persuasive argument about the weather and the beach, and how he hasn't seen me for ages, and how he has to see me today. So I'm bringing my book, and meeting him at Victoria in 2 hrs. Hmm...

I just watched 'I, Robot' last night. It was a household thing (K, S, M and me). Seems like all of us have become quite good friends ever since living together, even though we were in the same year, and didn't know each other before moving in (other than K and me). =)

But anyway, the movie was brilliant. I'm not a movie person, nor a Will Smith person, nor a sci-fi person, but this was simply brilliant. It's a futuristic sci-fi movie, what with robotics, the issue of AI, having robots with emotions. I didn't know that the movie was adapted from one of Issac Assimov's books. (Ooohh... not to mention, I love the slickness of the Audi TT in the movie. =p)

I've finally bought a fan. Decided to be hardworking, and so went in for a Skin Melanoma clinic in the morning. After it (rushed around too much during the clinic, but now I know what there is to know abt SNB [Sentinel Node Biopsy] and the grading systems, etc of melanomas.), met Fu in the lockers. Got talking, and he was aghast that I actually dun have a fan, esp in the month of August. My excuse is that I've always escaped London summer (went back home for the past 3 years, but this year, dun have a chance to escape it), and so didn't have a need for a fan. Now it's getting stuffy, so I thought, what the heck. Bought it, fixed it up, and now I'm enjoying cool breezes, although I still snuggle under my lovely think blanket. Heh.

Oh yeah, I also popped in to the bank to settle some stuff. So now, I won't get charged interest for a 2,500 pd overdraft. As it is, I'm already living on overdraft. Ain't it cool being a student? =)
